Unrolling a roll of plastic wrap isn't rocket science, but it is annoying when you pull off a sheet and it gets tangled on itself, or when you buy the cheap stuff and it just won't stick to the bowl or container you're using. Thankfully, both problems are easy to fix.
The folks over at Chow explain in the video above that keeping plastic wrap in the fridge or freezer makes it easier to pull off, and less likely to stick to itself when you rip it off the roll. It'll tear easily, but still stick to the surface you want to apply it to. If you have the other problem though, that the plastic wrap just refuses to stick to the container and give you a good seal, rubbing a few droplets of water?not much?will make it cling a little better.
